Bye Blogger, Hello Tumblr

 

 Nós já tínhamos pensado nisto, aliás um pouco antes de o criarmos já o tínhamos. Estamos a falar do Tumblr...pensámos bem e decidimos como o Artur In The Woods pagar o Blogger das nossas vidas e dar amor e carinho ao Tumblr. Não foi uma escolha nada difícil e super acertada! A partir de hoje todos os nossos desabafos, entrevistas, dicas e o que vocês quiserem chamar, vai passar a ser publicado no Tumblr. 

 O nosso Blogger vai deixar de estar activo, mas isso não vos impede de irem cuscar os posts mais antigos.

 We had already thought about this, a while back even before when we created what we had. We were talking about Tumblr... We thought very well and decided just as @artur in the woods to erase blogger from our lives and give some love to Tumblr. It wasn't an easy choice but super right! 

From now on, every outflow, interviews, tips and tricks and what you guys wanted to call, will now be publish on Tumblr. 

 Our Blogger will no longer be active, but that doesn't stop you guys on checking out our past posts

Armanda for Curly Essence

 Vocês não conseguem imaginar a felicidade em que estamos ao ver esta entrevista editada!! Perdoem-nos pelos risos, pela boa disposição, pelo calor, pelas dicas e pela animação...mas é inexplicável. Nós somos assim!! A Armanda apareceu-nos pelo Chiado com o seu jeitinho Angolano e com o seu tufo domesticado, para nos esclarecer e desvendar os segredinhos que tod@s nós andávamos ansios@s por saber. E desta forma a família vai crescendo...quem será a/o próximo/a? 

 You can't even imagine our happiness right now seeing this interview edited!! Forgive us for the laughs, for the happy mood, for the heat, for the tips and tricks and for the animation.... But it is inexplicable. We are simply this way!! Armanda appear in Chiado with her Angolan ways and with her domesticated flock, to clarify and unravel all the little secrets that all of us were anxious to know. And so the family grows.. who will be next?

Dyed Hair

 Ontem, uma de nós (Ana), resolveu pintar o cabelo e antes que algum de vós nos diga "ah vocês não são naturais?! Vocês não estariam proibidas pela lei do Rei Mago de estarem longe de químicos?!" Well... quem é esse? 

 Apesar de sermos team go natural, cabe a cada uma de nós decidir o que pode e o que não pode usar...existe quem fique longe de químicos, existe quem só use home made products e existe quem assume o seu cabelo natural e que não se importa de usar químicos, neste caso para o colorir!!

 Mas voltando ao que realmente interessa! Tomar a decisão de pintar o cabelo não é nada fácil, independentemente do tipo de cabelo de cada um. Seja carapinha, ondulado ou ate mesmo liso. Tomar esta decisão requer tempo e paciência. E perguntam vocês, "tempo e paciência para?" - Tempo e paciência para tomar contar = hidratar.

 O Verão chegou e não é por isso que nos desleixamos em relação aos cuidados que temos que ter com a nossa Kimdumba (este nome é lindo!!!). Por isso nada é mais importante do que proteger os nossos fios quer seja no Inverno, quer seja no Verão! Protective Hairstyles (não é a primeira vez que nos referimos, mas não custa nada relembrar) é uma forma de proteger o nosso cabelo das agressões diárias e com a vinda deste tempo é super importante ter o cabelo hidratado e quais são os benefícios que o meu cabelo vai ter? Toda a gente pode fazer? 1º - Evita que o cabelo se parta, evita a criação de nós no cabelo e consegue manter o comprimento. Toda a gente pode fazer? Sim, tod@s nós podemos fazer ou melhor, é aconselhável que tod@s o façamos!

 O fim de semana está aí e Sábado é dia de tomar contar do curly hair...  Há quem passe o dia inteiro com a mão na peruca, mas nós não temos tempo para isso! Apostamos em receitinhas que façam milagres e que nos poupem dinheiro e tempo.

 Vocês podem chamar-nos de loucas, doidas varridas, qualquer coisa que nos insulte de uma forma harmónica, mas uma coisa é certa, assim que fizerem o que nós fizemos, vão agradecer-nos de pés juntos. "E o que é que vocês andaram a fazer, meninas? Suas loucas..."HOLD ON a minute, what?? Nós sabemos que está calor, aliás muito calor e que vos apetece comer aquelas comidinhas super hiper mega calóricas, cheias de ketchup e maionese. Esqueçam!! A próxima vez que vocês olharem para um frasco de maionese, pensem "aquelas gajas disseram que podemos meter isto no cabelo... Niggas going crazy and sh&#" Hold on again... vamos ensinar-te os passos todos. Esta receitinha (nós hoje estamos um pouco parvas...desculpem-nos o uso destes diminutivos) tem o poder de deixar os nossos cabelos, independentemente de serem "encaracolados" ou não, super macios e cheios de brilho. 

 The weekend is here and Saturday is the day to take after the curly hair ... Some people spend all day with the hand on the wig, but we do not have time for this! We believe in miracles and little recipes that make us spare money and time.
 You can call us crazy, whatever, insult us in a harmonic way, but one thing is for sure, once you do what we did,you will thank us. "And what have you been doing, girls? It's crazy..."HOLD ON a minute, what? We know it's hot, very hot indeed, and that you feel like eating those tidbits super hyper mega calories, full of ketchup and mayonnaise. Forget! The next time you look for a jar of mayonnaise, think "those chicks said they can put it in your hair ... Niggas going crazy and sh & #" Hold on again... we will teach you all the steps. This recipe (we're a bit silly now... excuse us for the use of these diminutives) has the power to let our hair, whether "curly" or not, super soft and full of shine.

 Primeiro - vocês têm que ter um frasco de maionese em casa ou então façam vocês próprios a maionese dos vossos sonhos (existem milhares de receitas espalhadas por aí) e adicionem algumas gotas do vosso óleo preferido - azeite virgem, óleo de côco, óleo de jojoba, etc. Mexam tudo muito bem et voilà, está pronto. Sim, é mesmo só isto! Ou então não...

 First - you have to have a jar of mayonnaise at home or else do your own mayonnaise of your dreams (there are thousands of recipes lying around) and add a few drops of your favorite oil - virgin olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil etc.. Mix it all very well et voilà, you're ready. Yes, it is just that! Or not ...

 Segundo - Antes de colocarem esta mistura nos vossos cabelos, tenham em atenção que os mesmos devem estar molhados. Quem quiser pode lavar com shampoo antes ou dispensar o uso de shampoo. Cabe a vocês escolherem como querem fazer. Deixem durante meia hora e retirem muito bem com água fria. Tá calor, por isso vocês não se vão queixar assim tanto.

 Second - Before placing this mixture in your hair, be careful because your hair should be wet. Anyone can wash with shampoo before using or skip shampoo. It is up to you to choose how you want to do. Leave for half an hour and remove with cold water. It is very hot outside, so you will not complain that much.

Hoje chegou o dia da ampliação da família Curly Essence e podemos dizer-vos que tem sido com a maior das alegrias que temos recebido estas curlys lindas!! O Chiado foi o ponto de encontro e as risadas começaram minutos depois...Quem faz parte desta família tem que saber à priori que por estas bandas as gargalhas fazem parte do prato do dia.

 A Armanda caiu-nos na rifa e sorte a dela é que encontrou em nós uma guia de ensino de cuidados primários a ter em relação ao frô!! Existe tanto para saber sobre a nossa mais nova irmã..mas nada como esperarem pelo vídeo de introdução da nossa bela curly.   Quem espera sempre alcança, right? Agora fiquem com algumas fotografias do brunch de hoje... 

 Today came the day of the expansion of Curly Essence family and we can tell you that has been with the greatest joy we have received these beautiful curlys! Chiado was the meeting point and the laughter began minutes later ... Who is part of this family have to know a priori that in these parts the laughs are part of the ordinary.


 Armanda dropped us in the raffle and lucky for her that she found in us a guide for learning to take of the afro! There is much to learn about our newest sister .. but nothing like waiting for the intro video of our beautiful curly. Who waits always reach, right?
